Gateway Communications, PLLC is focused on providing comprehensive evidence based assessments, consultations, and skilled therapy. Therapy is focused on developing goals to optimize functional communication skills and independence with tasks in the home or school environment.  

WHAT IS A SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (SLP)?

A speech-language pathologist (SLP) is a highly trained professional with a Master's or Doctor's degree who evaluates and treats individuals with speech and language disorders.  A Speech-Language Pathologist can:
  • evaluate people to see if they have speech, language, thinking, or swallowing problems
  • work with people to improve communication, problem solving, articulation, and language abilities
  • consult with patients and families about their concerns and develop an individualized treatment plan
  • collaborate with other professionals (doctors, physical therapists, occupational therapists)

SPEECH THERAPY FOR KIDS

Gateway Communications, PLLC provides individualized speech therapy that is customized to each child's personal needs.  As trained speech therapists, we are dedicated to continuously analyzing your child's needs and developing a treatment plan to optimize skills.   A complete speech/language evaluation will be performed to determine strengths and needs.  The speech language pathologist will identify appropriate goals and begin consistent speech therapy sessions.
